Your profile & security

Update your personal details, change your password, email, and phone, and set a voicemail PIN.

Your profile

Go to Settings → Profile (under Your account) to update your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address, and pick Your Timezone. The page also shows your read-only User ID and User Status — handy when contacting support. Your name is what teammates see on activity you're part of.

The Your account section also holds Preferences (theme, display timezone, language), Call Settings, Audio Settings, and Availability.

Change your password

  1. Go to Settings → Account Settings.

  2. In the Password Security card, choose Change Password.

  3. Enter your Current Password, then your new password twice, and choose Update Password.

Your new password must meet all of these requirements:

Requirement
Example

At least 8 characters long

—

Contains uppercase letters

A–Z

Contains lowercase letters

a–z

Contains at least one number

0–9

Contains at least one special character

!, @, #…

The Update Password button stays disabled until every requirement is met and both new-password fields match.

Change your email or phone

Settings → Account Settings also lets you change the email address and phone number on your account. Both changes are verified before they take effect:

  • Email Address — enter the new address; a verification email is sent to it. Your sign-in email only changes once you confirm.

  • Phone Number — enter the new number; a verification code is sent to confirm it's yours.

If the verification email doesn't arrive, check spam and confirm you typed the address correctly.

Set a voicemail PIN

In Settings → Account Settings you can set a Voicemail PIN (enter it twice to confirm). Use it to protect access to your voicemail from the phone.

Reset a forgotten password

If you can't sign in:

  1. Go to dashboard.limephone.io and choose the password-reset link on the sign-in page.

  2. Enter your account email — you'll receive an email with a reset link.

  3. Follow the link, set your new password, and sign in again.

If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and confirm you used the address your account was created with.

FAQ

Why is the Update Password button greyed out? One of the password requirements isn't met yet, or the two new-password fields don't match. The requirements list turns green item by item as your new password satisfies each one.

I changed my email but still sign in with the old one — why? The change isn't applied until you click the link in the verification email sent to the new address. Until then, your old email stays active.

What's the difference between the timezone in Profile and the one in Preferences? Profile stores your personal timezone; Settings → Preferences has a display timezone that controls how dates and times appear for you. The display timezone defaults to your workspace timezone (Settings → General) — set it in Preferences only to override it for your own account.

Can I turn on two-factor authentication? There's no self-serve 2FA setting in the dashboard today. Use a strong, unique password, and contact [email protected] if you believe your account is compromised.
