# Mobile app and dialer

Call and text from your phone with the LimePhone mobile web app — no install required, and you can add it to your home screen like a native app.

## Opening the mobile app

Go to [**dashboard.limephone.io/mobile**](https://dashboard.limephone.io/mobile) on your phone and sign in with your normal LimePhone account. You get a mobile-first app with bottom tabs:

* **Inbox** — your calls and texts in one conversation view, with unread and missed-call badges.
* **Dialer** — a full phone keypad to place calls from your LimePhone numbers.
* **Contacts** — your contact book, with call and text actions.

More screens — **Dashboard**, **Call Logs**, **Assistant**, **Numbers & Orders**, **Billing & Usage**, **Alerts**, and **Settings** — are available from the app's navigation.

## Install it on your home screen

The mobile app is a PWA (progressive web app), so you can install it and it behaves like a native app — its own icon, full screen, no browser bar:

* **Android (Chrome)** — open dashboard.limephone.io/mobile, tap the ⋮ menu, then **Add to Home screen** (or **Install app**).
* **iPhone (Safari)** — open the page, tap the Share button, then **Add to Home Screen**.

The installed app opens straight to your inbox and includes shortcuts for composing a message and opening the dialer.

## Calling from mobile

Calls use your browser's microphone over the internet, exactly like the desktop web dialer — allow microphone access when asked. Your [Call Settings](https://docs.limephone.io/calls-and-messages/call-configuration) (caller ID, ring devices) apply on mobile too, and everything you do syncs with the desktop dashboard instantly.

## Notifications

To get call and message alerts when the app is closed, allow notifications when prompted. If alerts are delayed or missing, see [Push notifications](https://docs.limephone.io/troubleshooting/push-notifications) — aggressive battery savers are the usual culprit.
