Receive your first call
Here's how incoming calls reach you, how to answer them in the browser, and where each call lands afterwards.
How incoming calls reach you
When someone dials your virtual number, the call rings wherever your routing says it should — set in Settings → Call Settings (and per number in Settings → Phone numbers):
Ring in browser — the web dialer rings in your dashboard tab.
Forward to your number — the call is forwarded to your mobile or landline.
Your Settings → Availability hours and workspace Settings → Business hours decide when calls ring at all; outside those hours callers can be sent to voicemail.
Don't want calls right now? Turn on Do Not Disturb from the user menu (with an expiry time), or flip your Available/Away status — both control whether calls ring you.
Answering in the web dialer
Keep dashboard.limephone.io open in Chrome or Edge with microphone access allowed.
When a call comes in, the incoming-call screen appears — accept it to connect.
While on the call you can mute, and add notes about the caller.
End the call with the end-call button.
Where the call lands afterwards
Call Logs — every call is logged with the recording, transcript, and your notes. Open the entry to review it, call back, or send a text.
Activity — missed-call and voicemail notifications appear under Activity, the notification center in the sidebar (configure alerts in Settings → Notifications).
Contacts — calls from known contacts appear on their contact record.
When you don't answer
If you miss a call, it goes to voicemail — or, if you've configured one, your AI Receptionist answers, talks to the caller, and the conversation appears in Call Logs like any other call. Set this up under AI Receptionist in the sidebar.
Next: send your first text.
