# Push notifications

Get notified of incoming calls and messages — here's how to enable push notifications and what to check when they stop arriving.

## On the web

1. Sign in at <https://dashboard.limephone.io>.
2. Open **Settings → Notifications** (under Your account) and enable the notifications you want.
3. When your browser asks to allow notifications from dashboard.limephone.io, choose **Allow**. If you blocked it earlier, re-enable notifications for the site in your browser's site settings.

## On Android

1. Open Android **Settings** (gear icon).
2. Tap **Apps** and find **LimePhone**.
3. Open the app's permissions/notification settings and make sure **Notifications** are turned on.

Also check that battery-optimization settings aren't putting LimePhone to sleep in the background — aggressive battery savers are a common cause of delayed or missing call notifications on Android.

## Still not receiving notifications?

* **Connection issues** can block push delivery. Switch internet sources (Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa).
* **VPNs** can block the connections push notifications need — disable the VPN temporarily to test.
* **Availability settings** — if you're set unavailable or outside business hours, calls won't ring you; check **Settings → Availability** and **Settings → Business hours**. See [Call issues](/troubleshooting/call-issues.md).
* If none of that helps, contact support — see [Contact support](/troubleshooting/contact-support.md).
