Incoming calls are disconnected immediately upon answering

If you're experiencing incoming calls that hang up immediately when you answer them, there are a few possible reasons and steps you can take to resolve the issue:

  1. Verification calls or calls from financial or professional services: Some services that initiate verification or 2-factor authentication calls may not support virtual or VOIP numbers like LimePhone. These services may disconnect the call upon reaching LimePhone, resulting in an incoming call ring that immediately ends upon answering. This commonly occurs with verification calls from banks, financial institutions, or services like Apple or Uber.

  2. Caller has disconnected: If the caller hangs up within a few seconds of you answering, the call will end abruptly. It may appear as if the call is dropping immediately after you answer, but it's actually due to the caller disconnecting.

  3. Connection issues: LimePhone relies on a strong internet connection, whether it's WiFi or data, to function properly. If your internet connection is unreliable, it can affect your ability to receive incoming calls. To address this, try switching to a different internet source (e.g., WiFi to data or vice versa) or reset your router. Additionally, check if any third-party extensions, firewalls, or VPNs are blocking your connection and consider temporarily disabling them.
