Making Your First Outbound Call with LimePhone (Desktop, Android App, or Mobile Web Browser)
Excited to start making calls with your new LimePhone virtual number? Here's a quick guide to placing your first outbound call, no matter if you're using the desktop app, Android app, or even a mobile web browser (availability may vary):
Before You Begin:
Ensure you have a funded LimePhone account with a calling credit that allows outbound calls.
Have the phone number you want to call readily available.
Making the Call:
Launch LimePhone: Open the LimePhone desktop app, Android app, or navigate to the LimePhone web interface on your mobile browser (if available).
Locate the Dial Pad: Find the dial pad within the LimePhone interface. It's typically displayed prominently on the main screen.
Enter the Phone Number: Using the dial pad, enter the phone number you want to call, including any country code if calling internationally.
Initiate the Call: Once the number is entered, tap the "Call" button to initiate the outbound call.
Additional Options:
Custom Caller ID: You can select a specific caller ID to display on the recipient's end. This could be your business number or a campaign-specific number.
Call Recording: Activate it before placing the call if you want to record the conversation (remember to check local regulations regarding call recording).
Using the Call Interface:
Once connected, the call interface will display the call duration and provide options to mute the microphone, enable speakerphone.
When finished with the call, tap the "End Call" button to terminate the connection.
